Moving Forward

Since it’s beginning, Rocky River Community Church has had the privilege of seeing many lives changed. In 2006 we expect to baptize more than 30 people. Additionally, we have seen an increase in the size of our church and the ministries we are able to provide.

In 2002, our Staff Team commissioned a team of people in our church to find a suitable piece of property on which to build a permanent home. In April of 2003 God led us to buy 12.5 acres at the corner of Pitts School Road and Roberta Road in Concord, North Carolina. Our dream is to build a multipurpose building on that site that will facilitate weekly worship and vital ministry and activities for our community. To this point, the Rocky River Elementary School has been an ideal place to worship because it is familiar and accessible to the people living in our area. But the time has come for us to move out of the school and onto our land.
